Even if I did get the themepatcher installed correctly and restart my computer, I wouldn't know where to download and install the theme or where to extract it to. I know that windows 8 help sites say that they need to be saved in c:\windows\resources\themes, but I don't know if that is where I should download your themes.
I also don't know what to do after I extract it, do I need to do something else with one of those files since when I try to open the theme, it did not work after 3 failed attempts to install the theme (this was the thaiimpact theme, but I tried several others on top of that, so I have failed over around 8 times now).
I am so completely lost with following your directions and need very specific help with maybe even a complete step by step guide maybe even accompanied by screen shot examples? I am not a technicall professional but am familiar with windows operating systems, I just don't know all terminology or where everything is located at on a computer, so I am a bit technically challenged.
Sure could use some help since the screaming white windows in windows 8 feels like it is blinding me and making my eyes very tired by the end of the day, which is the whole reason I came to your website in the first place, to save my eyesight by trying to find a theme with cooler window colors (not as easy a task as one might think since a lot of themes don't change the window color).
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Temie

You first need to ask yourself what it is that you want to do?
If you only want to install a themepack that includes icons, wallpapers, sounds and similar things, all you have to do is to double-click a file that looks like this
- *.themepack
- *.deskthemepack
That's all you have to do - a simple double-click!!! You don't have to copy any files to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes - simply double click the file and if it's the correct file it will automatically install and apply itself
If you want to actually change the look of the Windows explorer and your taskbar, then you have to download so called visual styles and those are more complicated to install
I suggest you read our very extensive tutorial on the subject at
