Disk memory management related query.Help me out please.

All most all OS are running with the almost same memory management tricks.But how windows 8 can offer large disk capacity??How these features goes??

This is somewhat advanced topic.The efficiency of an OS generally depend upon the memory management which is almost similar to saying the file management system.These algorithm varies for different addressing method.Previously Cylinder-Head-Sector(CHS) method was used to addresse the disk.It pointed the specific block of data by specifying the Cylinder Head and Sectors.But the new addressing method in Windows 8 is the Logical Block Address(LBA) method,which arbitrarily allows large capacity of data to be accessed.Thanks.

Using virtual memory is a highly recommended idea that is more powerful, when it comes to Windows 8, like in case of older versions of Windows. Virtual memory helps saving memory and the goal is to reduce memory usage.
